Freshfields LLP and Cooley LLP advised on the acquisition of Avantia, a leading UK-headquartered AI-powered legal and compliance law firm for asset managers, by Carta, an agentic enterprise resource planning platform for private capital.
The acquisition launches Carta Law, an integrated AI-native legal and compliance solution for private markets, combining legal and compliance workflows with fund operations on a unified platform.
