DLA Piper, AZB Advised On GE Vernova’s Sale Of Proficy Software Business To TPG

DLA Piper and AZB & Partners advise GE Vernova on USD 600 million sale of Proficy software business to TPG.

GE Vernova has agreed to sell its Proficy software business to TPG for USD 600 million.

The transaction will establish Proficy as an independent software business serving more than 20,000 customers across discrete, process and hybrid manufacturing, as well as metro transit and infrastructure applications. The global transaction involved the carveout and restructuring of the Proficy business across multiple jurisdictions.

DLA Piper advised GE Vernova on the transaction.

The team was led by Corporate Partners Ben Forgiel-Jenkins (London) and Jonathan Klein (New York). The team also included Partner Lee Harding (Employment, London), Legal directors Paul Routledge (Leeds) and Jennifer Holyoake (London), and Associates Anthony Delury and Astrid Leonhard (both New York).

AZB & Partners represented GE Vernova in the restructuring of its Indian Proficy industrial software business as part of the global sale to TPG.

The transaction was led by Senior Partner Niladri Maulik and Senior Associate Purvi Lhila, with support from Senior Associates Himanshi Sheoran and Priyasha Goyal.
