YPOG and Freshfields advised on Quantum Systems’ USD 1.2 billion Series D financing round.
Quantum Systems, a German deep-tech defence, and autonomous systems company focused on interoperable multi-domain unmanned capabilities across air, land and sea, has raised USD 1.2 billion in its Series D financing round at a post-money valuation of approximately USD 8 billion.
The round more than doubled the company’s valuation and saw participation from a consortium of leading global institutional investors, including Blackstone, Airbus Defence and Space, Advent, Noteus, and others such as BOND, Fidelity Management & Research, Wellington Management, A.P. Moller Holding, and Elephant Lake Ventures, alongside existing shareholders including Balderton and HV Capital.
The proceeds will be used to scale production capacity, strengthen supply chain resilience, expand international delivery capabilities, and further enhance the company’s AI and software-defined defence systems.
YPOG advised Quantum Systems in relation to the financing.
