Founded over 20 years ago, Elite Consulting specialises in facilitating transfers for Scandinavian players and coaches, representing internationally recognised coaches including Thomas Frank, Brian Riemer, Kasper Hjulmand and Ståle Solbakken, as well as players such as Victor Froholdt, Albert Grønbæk, Anders Dreyer and Alexander Bah. The acquisition strengthens AS1’s position as one of the world’s leading football representation agencies, with more than 300 elite players under representation and a combined market value exceeding €700 million.
Simpson Thacher advised AS1, the Bruin Capital portfolio company and acquirer, on the transaction.
The Simpson Thacher team includes James R. Howe, Chris Vallance, Sean Macdonald, Ella Hammond and Spandan Das (M&A), Shahpur Kabraji and Dilraj Rai (Credit), and Étienne Renaudeau and Henry Llewellyn (Antitrust and FDI).
HortenDahl advised the sellers of Elite Consulting on the sale to AS1.
