Bharucha & Partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) and Khaitan & Co advised on River Mobility’s US$120 million Series C funding round.

River Mobility Private Limited has raised approximately US$120 million (INR 1,141 crore) in a Series C funding round led by Elev8 Venture Partners and Claypond Capital, with participation from Singularity AMC, Anicut Capital, 360 ONE Asset, JIIF and HDFC Asset Management Company, as well as global strategic investors including Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Al-Futtaim, Marubeni Ventures Inc., Lowercarbon Capital, Toyota Ventures and Maniv Mobility. The transaction also envisages the merger of River Mobility’s US entity, World of River Limited Inc., into River Mobility.

Bharucha & Partners advised River Mobility Private Limited on the funding round.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) advised Elev8 Capital AIF, Claypond Capital Partners Private Limited, Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund II and Anicut Equity Continuum Fund 2, together with their respective co-investors, on the primary investment of approximately US$120 million through subscription to Series C1 CCPS.

Khaitan & Co advised Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. And Al-Futtaim, existing investors in World of River, the Delaware parent of River Mobility, on the Series C fundraise and related cross-border merger.
