Archer Aviation Inc. has agreed to acquire Wisk Aero, Insitu and SkyGrid from The Boeing Company. The transaction will combine Boeing and its subsidiaries’ capabilities in autonomy, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) with Archer’s technology, creating an end-to-end physical AI platform for aerospace and defense. The transaction involves a complex cross-border carve-out spanning multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, Australia and the United Arab Emirates, and is expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to regulatory clearances and customary closing conditions.
