Baker McKenzie and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) advised on Ooredoo Group’s strategic investment in Zankore AI infrastructure platform.
Ooredoo Group is making a strategic investment in Zankore, a dedicated AI compute and neocloud platform being established together with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), lNVIDIA and Nokia. Ooredoo, as lead investor, will commit approximately US$800 million and hold a 49% stake in the venture. Zankore is targeting 1 GW of NVIDIA DSX AI Factory capacity, with the platform initially being developed in Indonesia before expanding across Southeast Asia. The project is expected to deliver its first 200MW of AI capacity in the first half of 2027, powered by NVIDIA GB300 NVL72.
Baker McKenzie advised Ooredoo Group on its strategic investment in Zankore and on all aspects of the transaction.
