Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has announced the elevation of five lawyers to partnership at the firm. The five new partners are- Bipluv Jhingan, Thangadurai VP, Diptayon Basu, Manjul Mantri and Nidhi Asher.
Bipluv Jhingan joined CAM as an Associate in the Direct and International Tax team and has a decade of experience. Bipluv specialises in various aspects of direct tax such as corporate tax, restructuring, and funds. He graduated from National University of Advanced Legal Studies in 2016.
Thangadurai V.P was previously a Principal Associate in the Tax Practice at the Delhi NCR office of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. Thangadurai VP is an expert in providing advisory and litigation services on various aspects of direct tax laws including corporate tax, international tax and transfer pricing.
Diptayon Basu is a real estate lawyer in Bengaluru. He advises leading developers, PE Funds, institutional asset owners, GCCs and data centre operators on transaction structuring and documentation in relation to large real estate acquisitions, joint development and leasing. Diptayon graduated from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in 2008 and joined the firm in February 2025.
Manjul Mantri, is a pan India real estate lawyer advising on-shore and off-shore infrastructure companies, developers, investors, funds, financial institutions across India. Manjul graduated from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in 2018 and joined the firm in February 2025.
Nidhi Asher has developed a focused practice in cross-border sanctions work, international and domestic arbitrations, and complex commercial disputes, with particular expertise in shareholder disputes, infrastructure and construction projects. She graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2014 and later pursued a diploma in International Law Contemporary Issues from London School of Economics in 2016. She joined the firm in May 2021.
