Orrick, DLA Piper Act On Chord Energy’s $550M Sale Of Non-Operated Marcellus Assets

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and DLA Piper advised on Chord Energy’s $550 million sale of its non-operated Marcellus position (assets) to POSCO International.

Chord Energy Corporation agreed to sell its entire non-operated Marcellus position to POSCO International Corporation for total gross consideration of $550 million. The position comprises approximately 32,000 net acres and trailing twelve-month production of approximately 121 MMcfpd of gas. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
