JSA and Khaitan & Co advised on the PwC India and PwC US joint venture.
PwC India and PwC US agreed to form a strategic joint venture comprising PwC India’s consulting business and PwC US’s acceleration centres in India. PwC India will hold 49.9% and PwC US will hold 50.1% in the jointly held company, with operational control vesting with PwC India.
The transaction is subject to applicable regulatory approvals, including approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI), and is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
