Trilegal and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) advised on ASK Asset Management’s acquisition of SageOne Investment Managers.
ASK Asset Management Private Limited (ASK AMC), a Blackstone-backed asset management platform, agreed to acquire 100% of the partnership interest in SageOne Investment Managers LLP from SageOne, its founder Samit Vartak and the sellers.
SageOne is a SEBI-registered portfolio manager and investment manager of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and also has an IFSCA-registered fund management entity in GIFT City.
The acquisition brings together two established investment management platforms with complementary synergies. As part of the transaction, Samit Vartak will be appointed Chief Investment Officer – Equities at ASK IM for the combined business.
