Clifford Chance and Freshfields advised on BT Group’s acquisition of TalkTalk’s telecommunications business and Platform X communications.
BT Group acquired TalkTalk Telecommunications Limited and PlatformX Communications Limited out of the administration of TalkTalk Group.
The acquisition was effected through pre-pack administrations, which concluded with the disposal to BT on October 5, 2026. The administrators of the relevant TalkTalk group companies are funded to ensure continuity of services and a smooth transition of the operating businesses to BT Group.
