Clifford Chance Advised Volkswagen On Issuance Of Green Hybrid Bond

Clifford Chance has advised leading automotive manufacturer VOLKSWAGEN AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT on the issue of a dual-tranche green hybrid bond of Volkswagen International Finance N.V. guaranteed by VOLKSWAGEN AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT which attracted a total of €1.9 billion from international markets.

Clifford Chance was not only involved in the 2025 Hybrid Bond, but has advised on various past Hybrid bonds of Volkswagen Group.

The banking syndicate for this transaction comprised Barclays Ireland Bank PLC, Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A., NatWest Markets N.V., Société Générale, and UniCredit Bank GmbH.
