Ashurst Appoints James Hearne As Projects & Energy Transition Partner In Tokyo

Global law firm Ashurst announced the appointment of James Hearne as a partner in its projects & energy transition practice, based in Tokyo.

James is a respected projects and cross-border M&A lawyer, bringing extensive experience in project development and operations, investments, M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances across energy, natural resources, power, mining, metals, chemicals, technology, and telecoms. He has advised on innovative energy transition, renewables, and conventional energy projects, including LNG offtake, trading and shipping transactions, and has successfully led matters for clients across the globe.
