SAM, CMS INDUSLAW Advised On Northwest Capital’s $30 Mn Series B Investment In JJG Aero

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) and CMS INDUSLAW advised on Norwest Capital’s USD 30 million Series B investment in JJG Aero Private Limited.

JJG Aero is a manufacturer of high-precision machined components for aero-engine and airframe applications, supplying global aerospace OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

The USD 30 million investment by Norwest Capital will support JJG Aero’s growth in the advanced manufacturing ecosystem, further strengthening India’s “Make in India” initiative in aerospace components.

SAM advised Norwest Capital, LLC (NVP) on its primary and secondary investment in JJG Aero Private Limited.

The Transaction Team was led by Partners Puja Sondhi and Manita Doshi, with support from Senior Associates Prerna Saroha and Vipra Sankhla, and Associates Pratim Majumder, Rishika Sharma, and Jeeri Sanjana Reddy.

The Due Diligence Team was led by Partner Manita Doshi, supported by Senior Associates Prerna Saroha and Vipra Sankhla, and Associates Priyam Mahajan, Divya Khanwani, and Jeeri Sanjana Reddy.

CMS INDUSLAW acted as legal advisor to JJG Aero Private Limited on its USD 30 million Series B funding round led by Norwest Capital.

The CMS INDUSLAW transaction team comprised Partner Winnie Shekhar, Partner Shantanu Singh, Principal Associate Tushar Gogoi, and Associates Chandresh Goyal, Ayushi Gupta, and Mahak Agarwal.
