Sunway Healthcare Holdings Berhad, a leading integrated private healthcare group in Malaysia operating five quaternary and tertiary hospitals along with ambulatory and complementary care centres, raised approximately RM 2.86–3.28 billion (US$722 million) through its IPO on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, marking the largest IPO in Malaysia in nearly a decade.
The listing included an over-allotment option and involved both domestic retail investors and international institutional investors under Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933. The IPO achieved a market capitalization of approximately RM16.7 billion, supporting the company’s growth and enhancing its position in Malaysia’s private healthcare sector.
Baker McKenzie advised the Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners on US federal securities laws and English law.
