CMS INDUSLAW announced that Abhishek Sanyal will be joining as a Partner in their Transactions practice, based in the Delhi & NCR offices.
Abhishek brings nearly two decades of extensive experience of advising numerous international and domestic clients on marquee and complex corporate and commercial transactions including acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and reorganizations in various sectors including technology, healthcare, automotive, media, manufacturing, cement, hotels, cosmetics, retail, and logistics.
Abhishek is recognised as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ by IFLR 1000 Asia Pacific, ‘Recommended’ by Legal500 Asia Pacific and has been recognised in BW Legal’s 40 Under 40 list.
Abhishek has led numerous transactions for clients based in the US, UK, EU, Australia, and Japan. He serves as a director on the boards of two leading automotive companies. He has also authored several articles on FDI, retail trading, and corporate reorganizations.
Prior to joining CMS INDUSLAW, Abhishek was a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice at Economic Laws Practice (ELP) and has previously worked with Khaitan & Co as well.
