CMS INDUSLAW has elevated four of their partners to equity partnership and announced the annual promotions for 2026. Following are the details –
New Equity Partners
• Aakash Dasgupta (M&A and Private Equity, Mumbai) specialises in private equity & venture capital investments, mergers & acquisitions, exit transactions as well as complex corporate advisory and transaction dispute settlement matters.
• Ashutosh Narang (Banking and Finance & Capital Markets, Mumbai) specialises in banking and finance, debt capital markets, cross-border financing, and insolvency and restructuring, with a focus on regulatory and strategic advisory.
• Revathy Muralidharan (M&A and Private Equity, Mumbai) specialises in Merger and Acquisitions and Private Equity Investments. She also specialises in General Corporate Advisory, Corporate Restructuring and Employment & Compliance.
• Shreya Suri (TMC, Data Privacy and Protection – Delhi & NCR) specialises in technology, media and communications law, advising on legal and regulatory matters across payments and fintech, digital intermediaries, data protection, information technology, gaming, telecommunications, as well as defence, aerospace, and public procurement, alongside broader commercial advisory.
New Partner
• Anupam Choudhary (Corporate and M&A, Delhi & NCR) is part of the firm’s M&A practice, based in the Delhi & NCR office. He specialises in M&A (inbound and outbound), corporate restructuring, and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on public M&A. He has significant expertise in advising domestic and international clients across a wide array of sectors, with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance space. He regularly counsels’ clients on complex corporate and investment matters, with particular strength in high-value, cross-border deals across financial services, insurance and other regulated sectors.
