Allens and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) advised on Campus Living Villages’ (CLV) purpose-built student accommodation project for Charles Darwin University.
Campus Living Villages (CLV) is developing a major purpose-built student accommodation project for Charles Darwin University (CDU), comprising a 14-storey student accommodation tower in the Darwin CBD and the upgrade and expansion of existing accommodation facilities at CDU’s Casuarina campus.
The project will deliver more than 400 new student beds, including 352 beds in the Darwin CBD development, supporting the university’s growing student population and expanding access to high-quality student accommodation. The Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) is providing up to A$74 million in concessional financing to support the project.
Allens advised Campus Living Villages on the development and financing of the project.
