AZB & Partners along with Poovayya & Co. advised on Fortis Healthcare’s ₹430 crore acquisition of People Tree Hospital.
The transaction marks the acquisition of People Tree Hospitals’ facility in Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru, and represents a significant milestone in the ongoing consolidation of the Indian healthcare sector.
The transaction was undertaken by Fortis Healthcare’s wholly owned subsidiary, International Hospital Limited, and also included the acquisition of the hospital building, the underlying land, and an adjacent land parcel, enabling operational continuity and future expansion.
AZB & Partners advised Fortis Healthcare Limited on its acquisition of People Tree Hospital in Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru, through the 100% acquisition of TMI Healthcare Private Limited, the entity under which the hospital operates.
