CAM, Trilegal Act On RMZ-Signature Global JV For Development Of Large Mixed Use Project In Gurugram

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) and Trilegal have advised on the formation of a 50:50 joint venture between Bengaluru-based RMZ and Gurugram-based Signature Global (India) Limited for the development of a large mixed-use commercial project in Gurugram.

The transaction involves an investment of up to INR 1,283 crore by RMZ and will see the project developed through Signature Global’s wholly owned subsidiary, Gurugram Commercity.

The proposed development, located on the Southern Peripheral Road in Gurugram, will span approximately 3.94 million square feet of FSI and is expected to comprise premium office buildings, hotel assets and curated retail spaces. The project has an estimated overall development value of approximately INR 14,000–16,000 crore and marks Signature Global’s entry into large-scale commercial real estate development within its existing land portfolio.

CAM advised RMZ on the transaction.

Trilegal advised Signature Global (India) Limited and Gurugram Commercity on all aspects of the transaction, including structuring, documentation, negotiations and closing.
