CAM, Trilegal, Linklaters Act On Piramal Finance’s ₹2100 Cr QIP

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), Trilegal and Linklaters advised on Piramal Finance’s INR 21 billion QIP.

Piramal Finance Limited completed a qualified institutions placement (QIP) of equity shares aggregating to approximately INR 21 billion (INR 2,100 crores). The Issue opened on August 24, 2026, and closed on August 28, 2026, with strong participation from a diverse mix of leading domestic and international institutional investors.

The offering comprised 9,952,606 equity shares.

Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited and JM Financial Limited acted as the placement agents/book running lead managers to the Issue.

CAM advised Piramal Finance Limited as issuer counsel.

The Capital Markets team comprised Regional Co-Head – Capital Markets – West and Partner Devaki Mankad, Partner Amitpal Singh, Associates Niharika Payannavar, Janhavi Deshmukh, Eashaan Agrawal, Mann Agrawal, Mitali Mangalam and Riya Kumar, with strategic guidance from Senior Partner Yash Ashar.

Trilegal advised the placement agents, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India), Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors and JM Financial, on the QIP.

The Capital Markets team advising on the transaction was led by Partner Vijay Parthasarathi and comprised Counsel Saurav Das, Associates Lajja Mehta, Joseph George, Rishabh Shah, Shivansh Anand and Trainee Associate Aarushi Jain.

Linklaters advised a book running lead manager on the QIP.
