Clifford Chance, Osborne Clarke Act On Admiral Group’s Acquisition Of Flock

Clifford Chance and Osborne Clarke advised on Admiral Group’s £80 million acquisition of Flock.

Following completion, Flock will become Admiral’s telemetry-driven fleet insurance proposition. Its AI-powered platform and specialist team will form a key part of Admiral’s commercial motor offering, enhancing the Group’s ability to price and manage fleet risk using real-time driving data. Flock CEO Ed Leon Klinger is expected to join Admiral Pioneer’s leadership team.

The transaction is expected to complete in Q2 2026 and will be funded through Admiral’s existing resources and credit facilities.

Clifford Chance is advising Admiral Group on the acquisition.

The team is led by partner James Cashier alongside senior associate Fergus Grady. They are supported by incentives partner Sonia Gilbert and senior associate Kate Haywood. The wider team included senior associate Jack Gilbert and associates Anita Arianpour and Molly O’Donoghue.

Osborne Clarke advised the shareholders of Flock on the transaction.

The cross-practice team was led by Partner James Taylor (Corporate), supported by Senior Associate Adam Turner and Associate Jad Soubra.
