Clifford Chance and White & Case advised on Partners Group’s acquisition of MPM Products from 3i. Clifford Chance advised the buyers and White & Case represented the sellers.

Headquartered in UK with a presence across US, EMEA and Asia-Pacific, MPM owns leading pet food brands such as Applaws, Reveal and Encore and differentiates itself through its high quality and human-grade products, natural and clean-label ingredients and a “cat-first” proposition.

3i is a leading international investment manager focused on mid-market private equity and infrastructure in northern Europe and North America, with £38.7 billion worth of assets under management.

Clifford Chance has advised Partners Group, one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry, acting on behalf of its clients, to acquire MPM Products (“MPM” or “the Company”), a global pet food business focused on premium cat food, from 3i.

Partners Group will work with MPM’s experienced management team to accelerate the Company’s future growth. Key value creation initiatives will focus on further expanding sales in MPM’s largest markets, building operations in new markets, and reinforcing supply chain resilience.
