Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal counsel to Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund II on its initial investment of INR 250 crores for an aggregate stake of 9.60% in Bhilwara Energy Ltd. (BEL) with a right to invest an additional amount of up to INR 250 crores through subscription of equity shares. BEL has filed a composite scheme of arrangement which provides for demerger of the graphite business from HEG Limited (HEG) into a new company (to be incorporated) and post demerger, merger of BEL into HEG, such that, the resultant entity will be called HEG GreenTech Limited.
