Dentons, Mori Hamada & Baker McKenzie Act On Lyft’s Acquisition Of TBR Global Chauffeuring

Dentons, Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, and Baker McKenzie advised on Lyft’s acquisition of TBR Global Chauffeuring.

TBR Global Chauffeuring operates across six continents, 120 countries and more than 3,000 cities, delivering premium ground transportation services for Fortune 500 companies, investment banks and major global events.

The acquisition will expand Lyft’s presence in the premium chauffeur market, combining its technology platform with TBR’s service excellence.

Dentons advised TBR Global Chauffeuring, a leading provider of premium chauffeur transportation services, on its sale to San Francisco-based international ride-hailing company Lyft Inc. For £83 million (approximately US$110 million). The Dentons team spanning seven jurisdictions was led by Scotland-based Corporate Partner Brian Moore. The team was also supported by Juliet Astbury (Pittsburgh, USA), Stephen McKenna (UAE), Gordon Ng (Hong Kong), Li Chuan Hsu (Singapore) and Hilton Yin (Shanghai), together with their respective teams.

Baker Mckenzie advised Lyft on its acquisition of TBR Global Chauffeuring (TBR), one of the world’s most respected names in luxury chauffeuring, in an all-cash transaction. The team was led by partners Phelim O’Doherty and Aarthi Belani, the core Baker McKenzie team includes M&A lawyers Grace Blackburn, Joanna Lees and Marissa Volaris.
