Eversheds Sutherland Spain and Khaitan & Co advised Systra on its acquisition of Ardanuy Ingeniería, S.A.
Ardanuy Ingeniería is a Spanish engineering company with extensive experience in railway, metro, and urban transport systems, with branches and subsidiaries in South America, India, and the Baltic countries. The transaction allows Systra to consolidate its presence in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America. The acquisition strengthens Systra’s global footprint and supports India’s smart urban mobility agenda.
Eversheds Sutherland Spain advised Systra on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Ardanuy Ingeniería, S.A., a transaction involving 16 jurisdictions and the coordination of more than 36 lawyers.
The team was led by legal director María Isabel González Ojeda, together with Of Counsel David Williams, Associate Ana González Orcajo, and junior lawyer Clara Calzado Miranda.
Khaitan & Co advised Systra on the Indian aspects of the acquisition. The deal included Rabindra Jhunjhunwala, Kevin Shah, Harshita Jajodia with assistance from Deepak Kumar (Employment).
