Freshfields, and Kirkland & Ellis advised on GIC’s acquisition of strategic stake in Envu.
GIC has agreed to acquire a strategic minority stake in Envu, a global environmental science solutions provider, from private equity firm Cinven, which will retain a majority stake following the transaction.
Envu was established in 2022 through a carve-out from Bayer’s Environmental Science Professional business and provides solutions focused on environmental health, pest management, and vector control. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Freshfields advised GIC on the transaction.
