Deal Makers

IndusLaw advised Agnikul Cosmos Private Limited, on securing a grant from Technology Development Board (TDB), a statutory body under the Department of Science & Technology (DST) for the “Development and Commercialization of Modular Configurable Launch Vehicle for 100 Kg Payload”.

The grant will enable Agnikul to develop and commercialize Agnibaan, a customizable two-stage launch vehicle capable of delivering payloads of up to 300 kg to orbits at 700 km altitude. Agnibaan is the world’s first rocket using a single-piece 3D-printed rocket engine and is India’s first semi-cryogenic engine-powered rocket. This will further cater to the growing demand for small satellites and democratise access to space for satellite market players.

The deal team consisted of Partner Revathy Murali, Senior Associate Anurag Prasad, Associates Aryan Mohindroo and Ayushi Suman.
