JSA and Khaitan & Co advised on Unimech Aerospace’s acquisition of Hobel Bellows.
Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing, along with its wholly owned subsidiary Innomech Aerospace Toolings Private Limited, has acquired Hobel Bellows and the indirect interest in Hobel Bellows Co. For a reported consideration of approximately INR 450 crore (US$47.06 million).
Hobel Bellows is a specialised manufacturer of metallic bellows, expansion joints, flexible tubing components, sheet metal fabrications and precision-engineered assemblies serving industries including automotive, locomotive, power transmission, water & gas and other engineering applications.
The company operates from a manufacturing facility at Duvvada SEZ, Visakhapatnam, and has a significant export-oriented OEM business with longstanding customer relationships across global markets.
JSA advised Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited and Innomech Aerospace Toolings Private Limited on the transaction.
The JSA team consisted of Lead Partner Archana Tewary and Associate Naveen Kumar.
Khaitan & Co advised Hobel Bellows Co. And its promoters on the transaction.
The core team comprised Rajiv Khaitan, Hardik Bhatia, Shreyas Bapat, Aditya Arunkumar and Shlok Mittal.
