Nelnet Business Services announced the acquisition of Entab Infotech, a provider of school administration and learning technology software in India.
The acquisition extends Nelnet Business Services’ school management and campus technology offerings into India’s K-12 education market.
Entab, founded in New Delhi in 2000, provides enterprise resource planning and learning management systems through its CampusCare platform. The company serves more than 1,000 schools and supports over 1.5 million students across 28 states in India.
Khaitan & Co advised ENTAB Infotech Private Limited and its promoters on the acquisition.
The deal team included Anand Mehta, Ravali Rayaprolu, Akhil Wilson Thomas and Yash Dawda, with assistance from Jimmy Bhatt on direct tax matters.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as India legal advisor to Nelnet Business Services.
Baker McKenzie acted as international legal counsel to Nelnet Business Services.
