Khaitan & Co advised Varun Beverages Ltd and lead managers Kotak Mahindra Capital, CLSA India, IFL Capital Services Limited, Jefferies India Pvt Ltd and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors on its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of Rs.7500 crore.

A QIP is a way for listed Indian companies to raise money through Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) by selling them shares or securities.

The deal team comprised of Abhimanyu Bhattacharya, Gautham Srinivas, Sathvik Ponnappa, Pulkit Singh Rahangdale, Sandeep Chowdhary, Shweta Sivaram, Vaishnavi Gupta, Vanshika Chaudhry and Ujwal Zutshi.
