Khaitan & Co, and JSA advised on Weaver Services’ acquisition of Centrum Housing Finance Limited.
Weaver Services, backed by marquee investors including Premji Invest, Lightspeed, and Gaja Capital, acquired a majority stake in Centrum Housing Finance Limited from Centrum Capital and certain other shareholders. The transaction also involved agreements with Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia for potential acquisition of the remaining stake, subject to requisite approvals and regulatory clearances.
Khaitan & Co advised Weaver Services on the acquisition.
The deal team consisted of Sanjay Khan Nagra, Srikanth Mantravadi, Shubhangi Tewari, Maansi Reddy Basani, and Nikhil Dave, with assistance from Vinay Joy, Shailendra Bhandare, and Srishti Ramkrishnan (Due Diligence), and Smita Jha (Regulatory).
JSA advised Centrum Housing Finance Limited and Centrum Capital Limited on the sale of their shareholding in CHFL to Weaver Services.
