Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has entered into a joint venture arrangement with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), with the parties holding 49% and 51% stakes respectively.
The joint venture will focus on advanced rolling stock and rail infrastructure projects in India and overseas.
Khaitan & Co advised Texmaco on the joint venture arrangement.
The core team consisted of Shourya Sengupta, Supallab Chakraborty and Joysurjo Roy, with strategic guidance from Haigreve Khaitan.
LexCounsel advised Rail Vikas Nigam Limited on the transaction.
