Khaitan, Linklaters Act On Tata Capital’s $400 M Senior Unsecured Notes Issuance

Khaitan & Co. and Linklaters advised on Tata Capital’s US$400 million senior unsecured notes issuance.

Tata Capital Limited completed the issuance of senior unsecured notes US$400 million 5.332 per cent senior unsecured notes due 2030 under Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, issued under its existing USD 2 billion medium-term note programme established on India INX in IFSC Gift City. The notes are listed on India INX in IFSC Gift City.

The issuance attracted strong investor demand from Asia and the EMEA region, with the offering being approximately four times oversubscribed. HSBC, MUFG Securities Asia (Singapore Branch) and Standard Chartered Bank acted as the managers and dealers for the transaction.

Khaitan & Co. Advised Tata Capital on the issuance. The deal team comprised Manisha Shroff, Mohit Nad, Aparna Arya, and Nandini Arya.

Linklaters served as international legal counsel on the transaction. The mandate was led by Partner Amit Singh.
