Khaitan & Co and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) advised on Nexusmalls’ INR 347.50 crore acquisition of Diamond Plaza Mall, Kolkata.
Nexusmalls Whitefield Private Limited, an SPV of Blackstone-backed Nexus Select Trust, has entered into an agreement to acquire Super Diamond Enterprises, which owns the Diamond Plaza Mall in Kolkata, for an aggregate consideration of INR 347.50 crores. The transaction involves the acquisition of shareholding in the entity holding the mall and forms part of Nexus Select Trust’s strategy to expand its retail real estate portfolio in India.
Khaitan & Co advised Nexusmalls Whitefield on its proposed acquisition of Super Diamond Enterprises for an aggregate consideration of INR 347.50 crores.

SAM acted as legal counsel to Super Diamond Enterprises and its partners on the proposed sale of shareholding in the entity owning Diamond Plaza Mall, Kolkata, to Nexusmalls Whitefield Private Limited (an SPV of Nexus Select Trust).
