Kirkland & Ellis and Davis Polk have advised on Firefly Aerospace’s underwritten public offering of 12,000,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of US$48.00 per share, raising approximately US$576 million.
The offering consisted of 4,000,000 shares offered by Firefly Aerospace and 8,000,000 shares sold by certain selling stockholders. The underwriters were also granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,800,000 shares from the selling stockholders.
Firefly Aerospace is a space and defense technology company focused on launch, lunar and orbital services and is the first commercial company to achieve a successful moon landing.
Kirkland & Ellis advised AE Industrial Partners and its portfolio company Firefly Aerospace in connection with the offering.
