Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins Act On The $7.5 Bn Playlist-EGYM Merger

Kirkland & Ellis along with Latham & Watkins advised on $7.5bn Playlist–EGYM merger.

The merger brings together Playlist’s global fitness and wellness platform with EGYM’s technology-driven smart fitness and corporate wellness solutions, creating a scaled, end-to-end ecosystem across consumer fitness, enterprise wellness and digital health.

The transaction values the combined enterprise at $7.5 billion and includes $785 million in new equity investments and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Kirkland & Ellis advised Vista Equity Partners and its portfolio company Playlist.

The Kirkland team included corporate lawyers Stuart E.
