O’Melveny and CMS INDUSLAW advised Freehand on its US$75 million funding round.
San Francisco-based Freehand, an enterprise AI company whose autonomous AI agents manage supply-chain spend for Fortune 500 companies, has raised US$75 million in a funding round co-led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from PSP Growth, Nexus Venture Partners and other investors. The fresh capital will support the expansion of Freehand’s AI platform and enterprise deployments.
O’Melveny advised Freehand on the funding round. The team was led by Partner David Makarechian, Chair of the firm’s Emerging Technologies Group and Head of the Northern California Corporate Department, with Counsel AJ Talt and Jamie Lee.
CMS INDUSLAW also advised Freehand on the US$75 million funding round. The team comprised Partners Winnie Shekhar and Shantanu Singh along with Senior Associate Ravishankar M.
