Pioneer Legal advised and assisted Mindgate Solutions Private Limited and its promoters in the sale of their stake in Mindgate Solutions Private Limited to PayU Payments Private Limited. Mindgate’s founders will continue to have majority ownership.

Mindgate is a key player in the payments technology and transaction processing sector. Mindgate provides banks and financial institutions with next-generation payments and collections platform solutions, particularly focusing on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Real-Time Payments technology. As a part of Prosus’s payments and fintech business, PayU, is a leading payment and financial services group. PayU provides payment gateway solutions to online businesses, enabling them to accept and process payments across various methods.

The deal team consisted of Partner Shoubhik Dasgupta, Principal Associate Eishan Agnihotri, Associate Rugwed Dhage, and Associate Smrithi Balasubramanian.
