Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM) and Antares Legal advised on The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s (IHCL) ₹429 Crore acquisition of controlling Stakes in Brij, ANK and Pride.
The transaction provides IHCL access to the entire hotel asset portfolio of Brij Hotels, ANK Hotels and Pride Hospitality and enables IHCL to acquire the ‘Brij’, ‘The Clarks Hotels & Resorts’ and ‘Clarks Inn’ brands among other premium hospitality brands of the group, and also includes an exclusive distribution arrangement between IHCL and Brij Hotels for the entire hotel asset portfolio of Brij Hotels, thereby strengthening IHCL’s presence across boutique luxury and midscale hospitality segments in line with its ‘Accelerate 2030’ growth strategy.
SAM advised Brij Hospitality Private Limited, ANK Hotels Private Limited and Pride Hospitality Private Limited, along with their respective promoters, in connection with the acquisition.
