Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised the underwriters, ICICI Securities Limited, Morgan Stanley India Company Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Axis Capital Limited, HDFC Bank Limited and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, to the initial public offering of equity shares aggregating to USD 260 Million by Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited.

The IPO included a primary issuance of equity shares by the company as well as secondary sale by its promoters Bupa Singapore Holding Pte Ltd and Fettle Tone LLP (True North). Shares of the company listed at a 6% premium over the IPO price and was subscribed 1.80 times.

The deal team comprised of Partners Prashant Gupta and Abhiroop Amitava Datta, Senior Associate Ankur Verma and Associates Sridutt Mishra, Purva Mishra, Mansie Jain and Mathangi K.
