Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. successfully represented Jubilant Beverages Limited (JBL) and Jubilant BevCo Limited (BevCo) (part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group) before the Competition Commission of India (CCI) in JBL’s acquisition of shareholding in Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings Private Limited (HCCH).
The transaction involved: (i) acquisition of 40% shareholding of HCCH by JBL; and (ii) subscription to CCPS in JBL by BevCo, WSSS Investments Aggregator 1 Pte. Ltd. And WSSS Investments Aggregator 2 Pte. Ltd. (part of the Goldman Sachs Group). The combination received unconditional Phase I approval from the CCI on 1 May 2025.
