Sidley Austin and DLA Piper advised on EFI’s combination with Agfa-Gevaert’s Digital Printing Solutions business.
Electronics for Imaging, Inc. (EFI) agreed to combine with Agfa-Gevaert’s Digital Printing Solutions business (Agfa-DPS). Under the definitive agreement, an affiliate of private equity firm Siris will hold a 60% interest and Agfa will hold a 40% interest in the jointly held company, bringing together the operating capabilities of EFI and Agfa DPS.
Sidley Austin LLP represented Electronics for Imaging, Inc. in its combination with Agfa-Gevaert’s Digital Printing Solutions business.
The Sidley deal team comprised Partners Vijay Sekhon and Ayo Badejo along with Associate Rudy Ramirez, all from the M&A and Private Equity practice.
