S&R Associates, Trilegal and Linklaters advised on Tempsens Instruments’ INR 650 crore IPO.

Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited, a thermal engineering and specialised cable manufacturer, completed its INR 650 crore initial public offering. The IPO attracted strong investor demand and was subscribed more than 184 times, with the qualified institutional buyer and non-institutional investor portions subscribed more than 300 times. The equity shares were subsequently listed on the BSE and NSE at a price more than 111% of the IPO offer price.

Founded in 1990, Tempsens Instruments is India’s largest manufacturer of contact and non-contact temperature sensors by revenue. The company designs and manufactures customised temperature sensing solutions, electrical heating solutions and specialised cables for a range of industrial applications.

S&R Associates represented Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited and its selling shareholders in the INR 6.50 billion IPO. The transaction also included a pre-IPO INR 0.50 billion secondary sale of equity shares by the selling shareholders.
