Troutman Pepper Locke and Gennari Aronson advised on CopperPoint Insurance Company’s acquisition of General Indemnity Group.

CopperPoint Insurance Company (CopperPoint), a leading specialty provider of workers’ compensation and commercial insurance solutions, completed its acquisition of General Indemnity Group (GIG), a holding company for United Casualty & Surety Insurance Company, surety placement platform BOSS Bonds, and SuretyBonds.Market, from Boston Omaha Corporation.

The acquisition creates an expanded specialty insurance and surety platform serving customers and distribution partners nationwide.

Troutman Pepper Locke advised CopperPoint Insurance Company on the closing of its acquisition of General Indemnity Group.

The team was led by Michael Renetzky, Ben Sykes, Marisa Young, Tim Farber, Laura L. Ferguson, Josh Gelfand, Ayo Adaranijo and Grace Elliott.
