Equilex has announced that Chiraagdeep Singh Dhillon has joined as a Partner, heading the firm’s Banking & Finance practice. This strategic expansion enhances the firm’s ability to offer comprehensive legal services to clients. The practice will focus on debt origination documentation (including corporate finance, project finance, asset finance, structured finance, trade finance), derivatives, debt capital markets and cross-border transactions.
Chiraagdeep brings over 16 years of experience spanning ICICI Bank and Anglo American. While in these organisations, he has worked for Banking and Finance issues qua APAC, EMEA, the UK and the US. He has especially developed experience in regulatory matters (across the above mentioned jurisdictions), structured and trade finance, bond issuances, and derivative documentation. His previous roles have also allowed him to provide detailed advisory on AML, sanctions and data privacy issues across markets, including the financial sector.
