Linklaters Adds Mei Lian As Partner, Corporate & Structured Lending Practice

Linklaters has hired Mei Lian as a partner in its Corporate and Structured Lending practice in London, further strengthening its private capital and credit solutions offering.

Mei is a market leading specialist in credit solutions, with over 20 years’ experience in high-end, cross-border finance transactions. Her expertise is navigating complex stressed and distressed situations, and she has a unique wide-ranging practice which spans the credit spectrum. In 2024, Mei was named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100, and she was recognised among Financial News’ ‘100 Most Influential Women in European Finance’. Earlier this year, she was recognised by Financial News as one of the ‘Fifty Most Influential Lawyers in Europe’. Mei is also listed as a Leading Individual for Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency in the Legal 500 UK.

She joins from Paul Hastings where she was a partner in the Financial Restructuring practice and co-chair of the London office.
