Sidley Austin LLP has announced that Sharanyaa Kruti Vasan has joined the firm’s Energy, Transportation, and Infrastructure practice as a partner. Ms. Kruti Vasan joins the firm from Milbank LLP, where she was a member of their Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group, leading and executing complex transactions involving various debt facilities, tax equity, preferred equity, and tax credit transfer structures.
Ms. Kruti Vasan brings more than a decade of experience at the forefront of the energy transition, having extensive experience in the representation of sponsors, investors, lenders, developers, and other project participants in connection with project finance transactions, and an emphasis on renewable energy. Ms. Kruti Vasan has developed deep experience structuring and negotiating the full range of project finance transaction types, including debt, tax equity, and preferred equity financing for various types of energy assets.
