Aileen Entwistle has joined Lindsays’ Glasgow office as a Partner, bringing more than 20 years of legal experience.
Aileen specialises in advising individuals and families on matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney, trusts and Inheritance Tax, as well as estate administration.
The quality of her work was recognised nationally in November 2025 when she was named Solicitor of the Year at The Herald Law Awards of Scotland.
Speaking about her new appointment, Aileen said:
“I am excited to be taking on this new opportunity with a firm with which I feel a real personal connection.
Lindsays wound up my Dad’s estate following his death 15 years ago. I was struck by the compassion and professionalism I was shown then and that’s remained with me. That personal experience – along with the firm’s strong reputation, particularly among its Private Client department – attracted me to this role. The values of Lindsays very much align with my personal values – to provide professional, compassionate, relatable quality advice.”
Aileen is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is ranked in Legal 500.
Hers is the sixth new Partner appointment at Lindsays so far this year (2026) and the second in the Private Client department, with Rob McNab having joined in January.
Andrew Diamond, the firm’s Managing Partner, said:
“The fact that we have attracted someone of Aileen’s calibre and experience speaks volumes for the quality that we have among our lawyers and staff, the high standards we work to for our clients and the environment we strive to achieve for our colleagues. She is a fantastic addition to our Private Client department as it continues to go from strength to strength, advising people and families on some of the most personal legal decisions they will make against an ever more complex legal backdrop.”
